Making a decision about your health should always be a top priority. healthFITcare is designed as an integrated program providing comprehensive treatment for common medical and muscular conditions related to pain, discomfort and disability. healthFITcare allows individuals to receive services focused on the prevention of injury or illness, and provides individualized programs to manage existing afflictions. Based on progress, varying levels of transitions are introduced to help individuals gain the maximum benefits of maintaining wellness and preventing illness.

Who is healthFITcare?

healthFITcare combines clinical and rehab services, massage therapy and fitness activities to benefit patients with physical disabilities. healthFITcare is for individuals who have/had chronic muscular issues, a family history of predisposed illness, weight loss and dietary needs or even an urge from their doctor to change their health and fitness lifestyle.

healthFITcare is not your average health club or gym. We offer you a comprehensive evaluation and a program geared to addressing your overall health concerns.

How does healthFITcare work?

You make an appointment as you would for your medical doctor. Upon completion of a health history questionnaire, you will be evaluated and assessed on your current health, postural and grip strength testing, manual muscular testing and range of motion, flexibility, body composition, strength testing, cardiovascular endurance and maximum strength potential performance. Based on these results, a comprehensive, personalized 30-40 minute program will be devised to address all deficiencies that are preventing optimal health and wellness. The program will establish the goals, definite timelines as well as specify frquency and duration of all activities.

healthFITcare does not except insurance because a doctor's referral is not necessary. However, healthFITcare will honor those insurance companies who will honor reimbursement. A doctor's prescription is required for occupational therapy.
